Katie Levin is a Co-Director at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Writing. She loves learning from and supporting individual writers as they develop their ideas and as they grapple with the complex push-and-pull of privilege, power, identity, and resistance involved in writing for (or against) powerful audiences. Katie’s PhD is from Indiana University–Bloomington; her BA is from Skidmore College. Raised in Vermont and having lived in Minneapolis since 2005, she strives to continually learn more about ways that she can work to dismantle—and ways that she is still participating in—systems of injustice.
